Avenue of the Arts 2019 Visionary Awards Celebration
Please join us at The Lucy on May 15, 2019 for a wonderful evening of food, drink and entertainment to honor two real visionaries on the Avenue of the Arts. We are proud to present the first Avenue of the Arts Visionary Awards to the Honorable Edward G. Rendell, former Mayor of Philadelphia and Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Carl Dranoff, founder of Dranoff Properties, and a pioneering developer on the Avenue.
Hosted by CBS3 Anchor Ukee Washington, celebrating Ed Rendell and Carl Dranoff’s achievements at The Lucy, presented by Cescaphe, located at Broad & Locust Streets May 15, 2019 from 6-9 p.m.
The Avenue of the Arts is home to renowned performance venues, hotels, eateries, universities, residences. It is a proven economic engine for the City and the region. Ed Rendell and Carl Dranoff have had a profound impact on the Avenue of the Arts and have worked tirelessly as part of a public and private partnership to position this important Philadelphia and regional corridor for an even brighter future.
Today, there is new streetscape infrastructure in place and being installed, while seven new private development projects are underway on the Avenue.
We hope you will join our Friends and stakeholders for this exciting event, and that you will support Avenue of the Arts, Inc.'s continued advocacy for this important link to Philadelphia’s economy and charm.
