BalletX Summer Series 2019 featuring The Little Prince
at The Wilma Theater, July 17 at 8 p.m.
BalletX, named “among America’s best” by The New York Times, performs the world premiere of Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s The Little Prince, an evening-length ballet featuring live music composed and performed by Peter Salem. In 2012, Lopez Ochoa and Salem first collaborated on A Streetcar Named Desire, earning Lopez Ochoa the UK’s National Dance Award. The Little Prince marks Lopez Ochoa’s 5th project with BalletX since 2008, when the company became the first in the U.S. to commission her work.
