Join us for an unique experience with our Master Teachers in Graffiti and DJ'ing. Located at our community headquarters in the heart of Columbia Heights, DC, you will learn the history and skills around both of this hip-hop arts, all over a nice assortment of wine. Paint your name first on a small canvas and then on our 9-foot tall practice wall. Create your own special mix as you learn to scratch and blend. One hour classes of each art will give you a little taste of what our amazing students learn. 100% of the revenue from this event supports WBL hosting free workshops for children in schools and communities in the DC area.
Logistics:
1) Registration for this event closes 48 hours before the date of the experience, so please don't plan to purchase this ticket last minute.
2) Dress comfortably - you will be painting and being active.
3) If you are planning a birthday party or a group larger than 5, please contact the organizer BEFORE you purchase your tickets to allow us to make special accommodations.
Location:
Hosted in our community studio in St. Stephen's Church, three blocks away from the Columbia Heights Metro Stop, also easily accessible by bus. Street parking often limited. When you arrive at the Church, please enter through the red doors on the side of the building, access through the adjacent parking lot.
