Italian Wine Dinner at Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante
About event
Experience the Hidden Gems of Piedmont, Italy, at a Wine Pairing Dinner at Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante!
Please join us on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. at the new Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante--in Delray Beach--for a special six-course Wine Pairing Dinner featuring the wines of the Piedmont region of Italy.
This will be an educational and delicious dinner, with a wine expert on hand, to educate us about these special wines.
Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante has received rave reviews from the press (here is the link from The Palm Beach Post review from April 6, 2018). This enticing wine dinner will feature the scrumptious Sardinian fare, of chef and co-owner Pietro Vardeu's home island in Italy, and wines from co-owner Antonio "Tony" Gallo's home in the Piedmont region of Italy. Chef Pietro was invited to cook Sardinian dishes, three times, for The James Beard Foundation.

Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante in Delray Beach--and the "sister" Sardinia in South Beach--serve delicious dishes that are reflective of chef and co-owner Pietro Vardeu's glittering home island in Italy. Chef Pietro, and co-owner Antonio"Tony" Gallo, are hospitality professionals who enjoy welcoming diners into their restaurants. Sardinia's expansive menu features house-made cheeses from the Mozzarella Bar; bountiful salads and house-made bread; house-made pasta dishes and paellas made with Sardinian couscous (both offered in half- and full-portions); and inventive veal, lamb, chicken, and beef dishes. House-made desserts include three kinds of tiramisu (traditional, strawberry, and beer); millefoglie (puff pastry layered with Chantilly cream, pastry cream, and Mascarpone cheese, topped with Nutella); and chocolate almond cake served with vanilla ice cream. Sardinia also offers a thoughtful 300-label wine list, with a heavy accent on Italian wines, and a Veuve Clicquot Champagne Brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
