Fashion to be worn on the Photo Shoot

RULES

RULES & REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PHOTO SHOOT
HIGH FASHION MODELS 

• Participants are not allowed to drink;
• Swimwear, Sportswear, and Costumes cannot be damaged under any circumstance;
• Participants are not allowed to wear costumes from other organizations or  schools not affiliated and registered with the organizers;
• Delays won’t be tolerated;
• The theme song of the samba school must be upgraded to New York dance and clubbing standards and played throughout the parade;
• Participants are not allowed to carry objects or original documents;
• Participants are not allowed to take pictures or record videos while on the parade.

Costume prices

Each samba school will be working with a fashion designer registered at the event. Renting the costume is included with the registration. 

We will prepare at the Hotels and Offices affiliated with the event

Go to the parade already wearing your costume as there will be no place to keep your regular clothes and you will not be allowed to carry them during the parade. Do not carry any other item with you as there will be no place to keep it either.

It’s not only for fun

Carnival is this big Brazilian party, but the participants can never forget how serious the celebration is during New York Fashion Week. Attending to all rehearsals, arriving on time and taking good care of your costume are only some of the demands to participate in the Brazilian  Carnaval No Picolé Gelato Parade & Fashion.

Also, it is crucial to add the fashion component to this particular event, At the end, this is New York. Learning how to dance the “samba” is not mandatory depending on the group you are participating, but would definitely enhance your performance.

Precautions

The risk of being robbed while participating in the festivities, especially in the street carnival is real and must be taken into account. Pickpockets are everywhere, so avoid carrying important documents and considerable amounts of money with you while staying in crowded places. Cameras and mobile devices must be handled discreetly as well.

Carnival Carnaval No Picolé Gelato Parade & Fashion is also among the major concerns of the New York public health system, volunteers will support us during the parade.

Get your tickets in advance

If you’re not willing to effectively participate in the parade, you can participate as a spectator. The Parade will be free in public areas but not inside the venue. #NYCFW  the event organizer offer several different bundles for those who want to watch the parade, get started or take access the VIP areas.  Here you will find the different options tickets for both 

RULES OF AUDIENCE CONDUCT

Whistling, yelling, calling out to models is not permitted at our event.
we attempt to maintain a quality event and such distractions are not appropriate 
please turn off cell phones when inside our event forum 

PACK TO BE PREPARED
Think of every possibility and be prepared by packing well.
Safety pins, thread, extra shoes, socks, hair items, hairspray, iron, steamer etc.
Do not arrive expecting things will be available only to then find you have no access,
arrive prepared to make your attendance stress free,

HIGHLY SUGGESTED
Bring a book, a tablet or any other quiet but entertaining item to keep your child occupied in any down slow times he | she may be awaiting their turn to take catwalk.

PARENTS AND ATTENDING GUESTS ATTIRE 
one parent is required at all times
Please dress to compliment your child, this is not a casual event
Cameras are everywhere, please dress accordingly.
Business casual or after 5 wear is accepted

HAIR and makeup is provided 
clean and pre-done hair 
and clean face with minimal base required
NO ONE except our staff will have access 1-6 pm

The "New York Fashion Week Kids" staff
is clearly visible to manage the event proceedings, they are not however available to
(a) watch or care for children (b) dress children (c) replace lost numbers or tickets
Respecting the rules and instruction by the staff of the event is required at all times.
Our Team is in place to be certain the event runs as show times indicate.

RULES OF PARTICIPATION/CONDUCT
WE ARE A ZERO TOLERANCE EVENT - be positive - be supportive - nothing less is acceptable
This is a quality upscale event - no yelling out at models on our catwalk, whistling etc
This applies to both parents and models and any/all guests.
Any indication of even the slightest display of bad sportsmanship/poor conduct on any level between any person(s) will result in immediate removal from all events.
No opportunity for explanation of behavior will be provided, tolerance is ZERO.
Our rules apply without exception.
Parents lead by example and both the staff and Editors of the Magazine hold both the events and those attending in the highest regard, the same is expected by all who attend.
By attendance, to the event, you acknowledge and agree to the rules of conduct and understand that failure to abide in any way will result in immediate disqualification from all events
with no eligibility for any prize or opportunity available and no future opportunity with (a) the event(b) the Magazine(s).
