Earning high praise from Salman Rushdie and his contemporaries, Etgar Keret’s work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Paris Review, among many other publications. He is a regular contributor to This American Life. Internationally acclaimed for his short stories, Etgar Keret is hailed as the voice of young Israel.

The Nomads Reading Series (TNRS) is a literary caravan of sorts in the Greater Detroit area where writers, artists, and members of various immigrant communities are invited to read in their native tongue and in English as a way to tackle the deep history of segregation in Michigan.

Support for MOCAD's public programming is provided by the A. Alfred Taubman Foundation.
