Join Words Beats & Life at the GALA Hispanic Theatre for the 4th Annual Youth Poetry Grand Slam Final where the top 12 youth poets from our qualifying slams will compete for the title of WBL Youth Poetry Grand Slam Champion. The top six poets will be invited to compete at the Brave New Voices International Poetry Festival in California as members of the WBL Slam Team. Enjoy two hours of powerful storytelling from the DMV’s brightest young talent, with featured guest and 2017 DC Youth Poet Laureate, Aniyah Smith.
